It may not be the ideal commuter car, but there’s a charm here, a distinctly American sense of purpose, the magazine said.
2011 Ram 1500 Tradesman “because every man needs a truck.” Trucks are tools, and tools aren’t supposed to be flashy, Es-quire said. “By that measure, the HEMI® V-8-powered Ram Tradesman is the best pickup on the market,” the magazine said. At $22,780, it’s cheap enough to buy for occasional use; at 390 hp and 407 lb-ft of torque, it’s powerful enough to haul anything short of the Queen Mary, the article said.

The Jeep brand has announced a new advertising campaign to showcase just how amazing the award-winning Jeep Grand Cherokee really is. Since this SUV has been on the market, it has captured 30 awards from a collection of publications, television and on-line media outlets, journalist associations and industry organizations making it the most awarded SUV ever.

Motor Trend said the Charger offers the HEMI V-8 in two flavors: “smoky jalapeƱo 5.7-liter” and “habanera-hot 6.4-liter,” which powers the SRT models.

Dodge Charger, Challenger & Durango Leaders of their Segments

Power and Associates 2011 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) StudySM.
According to J.D. Power and Associates, the Dodge Charger ranked highest in the Large Car segment and was the most improved model in the industry. The Dodge Challenger scored highest in the Midsize Sporty Car class and Dodge Durango took the top spot in the Midsize Crossover/SUV segment.
“We’ve listened to our customers and made significant improvements across the product line, launching 16 all-new or extensively updated vehicles in the past year,” said Doug Betts, Senior Vice President—Quality, Chrysler Group. “We worked very hard to make our vehicles truly competitive with the best vehicles in their respective segments. It’s nice to see this effort being recognized by our customers.”

New Gospel Version of Lose Yourself Released by Chrysler and Eight Mile Style LLC
The Chrysler Brand and Eight Mile Style LLC have teamed up to bring you a heart-felt, gospel version of “Lose Yourself” which is just awesome and is available to download on iTunes! This gospel song was performed by the “Selected by God” choir, who was also featured in the “Born of Fire” Super Bowl Commercial released earlier this year.
What is so great about this song is all of the proceeds from the iTunes downloads go to three local Detroit charities – Abayomi Community Development Corporation, The Yuinon and the Robert S. Shumake Foundation.

20 Percent Increase in July Sales for Chrysler Group

Our Chrysler Group just reported a 20 percent increase since last year’s July 2010 sales and the best July sales since 2007. Oh yea.. that is what we are talking about. Come on out and get into one of the best made, American cars on the market – other people sure our.

All Jeep® brand models contributed to the 20 percent July sales increase, including the iconic 2011 Jeep Wrangler, which set an all-time sales record, and the new 2011 Jeep Compass compact SUV with a 240 percent sales increase, the largest year-over-year sales gain of any Chrysler Group model.
All five Jeep brand models posted a sales increase in July compared with the same month a year ago. All Jeep models currently in production have posted year-over-year sales gains every month this year.

Also contributing significantly to the July sales gain were the new 2012 Fiat 500 city car, the all-new 2011 Dodge Durango three-row sport utility, and the 2011 Chrysler 200 mid-size sedan, star of the Chrysler brand’s award-winning “Born of Fire” Super Bowl commercial.
“In a market that remains tougher than a cheap steak, we were able to produce our highest retail sales in more than three years,” said Reid Bigland, President and CEO – Dodge Brand and Head of U.S. Sales. “I think that statistic is the ultimate testament to the progress we have made with our product in the areas of fuel economy, quality and design.”
The Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge brands each posted year-over-year sales gains in July, while the Fiat brand registered a 68 percent increase compared with the previous month of June 2011. Chrysler Group’s car sales increased 28 percent in July, while truck sales were up 18 percent compared with the same month a year ago.
